After the siblings left, the vast villa suddenly became quiet.
Lucy Ansley wasn't acquainted with Max Shaw, at least not to the point where they could engage in lively conversation.
Fortunately, Skye Jade stayed behind, preventing the atmosphere in the living room from becoming too awkward.
"Madam, how much more do you need to finish your plan?"
Skye Jade fished out an apple from somewhere, took a bite, and asked while eating.
Lucy Ansley said she'd finish it tonight and then looked at Max Shaw, asking, "Mr. Shaw, are you staying for dinner tonight?"
She wasn't clear on the details, but her brother said to look for Max Shaw if she needed anything, clearly treating him as one of their own. Since he showed no intention of leaving, Lucy couldn't very well ask him to go.
Max Shaw pinched the bridge of his nose, coughed twice, and said, "Mm, sorry to trouble you, sister-in-law."
Lucy Ansley: "???"
