Chapter 126 - Chapter 116: Stirred

The next day, Lucy Ansley woke up early to find the bed beside her already empty.

The curtains in the bedroom were still drawn, and it was just past seven-thirty.

She touched the bed on the side and felt a slight chill, indicating that he had been gone for a while.

Lucy stretched lazily, sat up with the quilt in her arms, and curiously began to observe the man's bedroom.

The decorating style was similar, but the layout and color scheme appeared more subdued and profound.

The bed linens were simple in black and gray, and the only difference was the sky-blue pillow she had brought with her.

She took a cursory look around, then turned over to get out of bed, intending to return to her room to change clothes.

As she passed the walk-in closet on the left, the door was half open, and the light inside was still on.

Lucy, without thinking, glanced inside, then involuntarily stopped in her tracks.

She thought she should abide by the idea of not peeping and turn away.
