Lucy Ansley walked over to the bedside, sat down, and stroked the fabric of the bed linen, looking around with curiosity.

Before long, her attention was drawn to the floor-to-ceiling window.

She walked over and peered through the glass at the outside scenery, vaguely able to see the hidden hot spring pool in the back garden.

When Henry Ronan found her, he saw the window of the master bedroom open, and the curtains on both sides fluttering back and forth in the wind.

And Lucy was standing on the small balcony outside in a thin sweater, her arms resting on the marble railing, craning her neck to look at something below.

It was a lively scene, and the man inexplicably stopped, not wanting to interrupt.

Winter in Fragrant River is very cold, and the cold wind blowing in from outside dispelled the warmth indoors.

A moment later, the figure on the balcony shivered, rubbed her arms, and walked back in.
