She didn't dislike Wendy Wayne, but she didn't feel any immediate bond with her either.

Henry Ronan's deep voice rose lightly, as if asking or waiting for her to continue.

The two returned to the sofa, and Lucy fiddled with the man's fingers. "She didn't say much, just talked about her family. Maybe she wasn't satisfied, so we planned to go out for coffee today."

"What time did you plan?"

"Three o'clock," Lucy said, looking at the man again, "but we have to return to Zenith City at four, not enough time."

Henry lazily leaned against the sofa, his dark eyes holding an enticing smile, "If you want to go, we can wait for you to come back before leaving."

Lucy withdrew her gaze and looked at the background wall ahead, decisively saying, "I've already told her I can't go, going back and forth is not good."
