Death versus Shadow stared into each other's eyes as their conduits prepared to face off. One had the strong urge and desire to draw out as much blood from their opponent as it could before devouring its flesh, while the other desired draining the energy from their opponent, hoping that it would revert to its much weaker, useless human form.
Once the Deathhound's wounds healed quickly, it lunged forward with its claws at its sides as it released a loud, somewhat paralysing shriek it called a roar. The magnitude of its voice was loud and firm, almost reaching the bones of whoever stood in its way.
Balkium got to experience this firsthand as his body shook under the howl's volume. Regardless, he had seen, fought, and killed entities that did worse to him, so he wasn't about to let his character be shaken by a human-turned-beast.
