Chapter 19 - Chapter 19 Sharp Sword, Sharp Eyes_1

Under Xiao Ruoching's astonished gaze, Su Bei rummaged through the storage ring, pulling out all sorts of quirky outfits: rabbit tails, rabbit hats, and even some thin clothes adorned with beautiful patterns. Su Bei stroked his chin, contemplating the three outfits laid out before him: a sailor suit with a necktie, an elaborately made Lolita dress, and an OL-style white shirt and short skirt work uniform.

A soft rustling came from within the thatched cottage, and then Dan Wuque's voice was heard again, "Senior Brother, do you have any shorter skirts?"

"Who wears both pants and a skirt at the same time!" Su Bei was rendered speechless, his face coloring with embarrassment.

Eighth Junior Sister is really something else, actually wearing stockings, he thought. But as for short skirts... Su Bei's gaze shifted toward the slightly longer black blazer.

A thought flickered through his mind.

An inexplicable voice echoed within it: HISS! HA! Is this also considered a challenge? I am an artist who uses a sword; I haven't lied to you, have I? Sharp sword, sharp eye.

COUGH!

"Disciple, hand this skirt over to your Martial Uncle." With a serious expression, Su Bei picked up the black work blazer and handed it to Xiao Ruoching.

Soon after, Xiao Ruoching emerged, her face flushed red. Her brows were furrowed, and she gave Su Bei a peculiar look. Su Bei remained unmoved, lounging leisurely in his rocking chair. The sword behind him floated quietly, seemingly enjoying the refreshing breeze of No-Sword Peak.

Not long after Xiao Ruoching had come out, Dan Wuque, now wearing the black blazer and black stockings, walked out with a shy gait.

Su Bei's eyes instantly lit up. Demacia!

The overly long black blazer covered her hips, and the somewhat transparent black stockings made the skin around her joints appear especially fair and delicate. Five beautiful toes curled up, enticingly wrapped in the thin black silk. Following the exquisite toes, the delightful outline of the front half of her feet was revealed, and through the stockings, the inviting gaps between her jade-like toes were visible.

This is what a female headmaster in a xianxia world looks like! Su Bei felt like crying. All that was missing was a red scarf and a ruler.

"Senior Brother... This outfit looks really strange," Dan Wuque said, her face crimson as she looked a bit embarrassedly at Su Bei. Even someone as usually unreserved as her felt a strange sort of atmosphere wearing these clothes.

Su Bei stood up and declared with righteous conviction, "Junior Sister, I think this outfit suits you very well!"

"I suggest you wear this outfit every time you visit me, but it's best not to wear it out in public..."

Dan Wuque processed this for a moment. "Really?" she asked.

"But why can't I wear it out?"

"I feel that although this outfit is a bit unfamiliar to wear, it fits well and is surprisingly light and comfortable," Dan Wuque continued. "Yes, it's much more convenient than that complicated and cumbersome dress!"

At her words, Su Bei's breathing grew slightly erratic as he gazed directly into Dan Wuque's clear, autumn-water eyes.

Should he tell her that if she went out in this outfit and was seen by Eldest Senior Sister and Ninth Junior Sister, they would probably raze his No-Sword Peak to the ground?

After a moment's thought, he stood up, clasped his hands behind his back, and said solemnly, "Junior Sister, you must know that I only have two pairs of these trousers!"

"If you wear them out and others see, what then?"

"They will definitely ask me for them. I'm only giving them to you because we're so close!"

"We are good buddies, great pals; that's why I gave them to you."

"Ice Worm silk is not easy to find..."

"Here, hold this stick."

Dan Wuque nodded, a look of realization dawning on her face as she looked at Su Bei and subconsciously took the stick he handed her.

"I understand, Senior Brother!"

"But what use is this stick?"

Su Bei, hands clasped behind his back, gazed at the distant mountain peaks, at the wild geese flying over them, and at the Sword Sect female disciples practicing and laughing merrily at the foot of the mountains. He stood there, his skin as fair as snow, his face exquisitely flawless, with sword-like eyebrows and eyes like stars. Merely standing there, he exuded a tranquil presence. From head to toe, he radiated the proud and aloof aura of a peerless Sword Immortal—an aura impossible to imitate, one that had been tempered over countless years.

Then, as if muttering to himself, yet seemingly addressing the two women behind him, he spoke softly, "Do you know what Sword Heart is?"

Sword Heart?

Upon hearing this, Xiao Ruoching's eyes narrowed, her ears perking up instantly. Master is about to impart his teachings!

Dan Wuque also took a deep breath, her gaze fixed on Su Bei with utmost solemnity. She knew that when it came to insights into the Sword Dao, few in the world could rival her Fifth Senior Brother. Just a few of his sentences had been enough to nearly push her to a breakthrough into the Mid Stage of Refining Void. Every word from Senior Brother contains the profound truths of the Great Dao!

"Please enlighten me further!" they both said.

Su Bei stretched out his hand, as if to grasp the sun above, and slowly said, "Sword Heart, also known as the Heart's Eye!"

"A Swordsman must be peerless! Do not hesitate! You have no opponent!"

"You must believe in your sharp sword and your sharp eye!"

"Dare to challenge!"

"Do you understand?"

Dan Wuque lowered her head, silently absorbing the profound concepts Su Bei had imparted.

Xiao Ruoching looked bewildered as she watched the two, her gaze shifting back and forth between them. Could it be that her own realm is too low? That she simply can't understand what Master is saying? But she genuinely didn't understand a bit of what he was saying... just like the mysterious Cultivation Technique he had given her. Could there be something in it that she hadn't comprehended thoroughly? Indeed, even after reincarnating, Su Bei remained the same inscrutable, terrifying man with meticulous thoughts! Killing him was proving to be far too difficult!

Suddenly, Dan Wuque, who had been silent, seemed to realize something as she looked at the stick in her hands. Then, holding the stick in one hand, she extended it straight ahead, facing the vast sky and sea of clouds!

With a light shout, she cried, "Sharp sword, sharp eye!"

"Unmatched challenge!"

「In the Twenty-One Provinces, Dongfeng Ancient Country, Mo Family.」

CLANG!

A single sword strike! Accompanied by a melodious ring, it echoed through the valley.

The silver-haired woman remained expressionless, allowing the blood of the North Wind Wolf to splatter across her body. A single, fluid strike, and its bones were bleached white!

Her exquisite face, with its slender eyebrows and thin lips, held an otherworldly, cool detachment. She slowly withdrew her longsword from the wolf's corpse—unstained by a single drop of blood—and said lightly, "The first one."

Just as the silver-haired woman slew the wolf, a group of onlookers approached, chuckling and murmuring incessantly:

"Miss Mo Li's talent is truly unprecedented!"

"Indeed! At just eighteen, she already possesses Qi Feeling, a Sword Body, Sword Heart, and Sword Bone. Such talent..."

"A mere North Wind Wolf is nothing! Miss Mo Li possesses the Sword Three Physique!"

"Among this year's graduating cultivators, Miss Mo Li is undoubtedly the cream of the crop."

"With such talent, any of the ten 985 Immortal Sects in the Twenty-One Provinces would be hers for the choosing!..."
