"Fellow Daoist, trespassing on the Forbidden Land and still questioning me," the man laughed.
"Shouldn't you introduce yourself first, Daoist?"
The man put down the wine jar in his hand and wiped his mouth vigorously.
This rude action was quite incongruous with his ethereal demeanor.
"I'm just an ordinary person," Xu Zimei smiled.
"Admiring the grace of the ancestors of the Jade Maiden Palace, I've come to pay a visit."
"Do you believe what you're saying yourself?" the man retorted.
"I'm here to find the Barren Tree," Xu Zimei chose to speak the truth.
He knew that this man definitely knew many things.
Furthermore, for there to be a man within the Jade Maiden Palace,
was in itself an unusual occurrence.
"So someone finally knows about this," the man remained silent for a long while.
He hadn't spoken.
Xu Zimei did not want to waste time either.
He said, "I just want to borrow the Barren Tree; I'll return it once I'm done."
