Noticing the atmosphere was a bit tense, April decided to play her part.
"Well... I also don't agree to spend so much money on treating people. For the director and Sebastian Page, sending some gifts should be fine. As for the other crew members, there's really no need."
April looked at Maya Mu and continued.
"You know how they talk behind Bertha's back. Spending this money on them is not worth it. When Bertha wraps up filming, just give them a red envelope."
Maya had acted impulsively earlier, just wanting to splurge Amos Smith's money, but now that she calmed down, she realized her actions were indeed inappropriate.
"I'm sorry, I didn't think it through."
Maya turned to Bertha and apologized.
Among friends, conflicts should be resolved immediately. There shouldn't be overnight grudges between friends, just like in marriages.
