Bertha was very tired, so after being tossed around by Amos, she couldn't even open her eyes, thinking she should hurry back, but her body wouldn't cooperate.
She ended up staying overnight at Fulux Garden.
When she opened her eyes again, the sun was already high in the sky.
Oh no.
She was late.
Out of the corner of her eye, she saw Amos's phone. She reached out and picked it up, and when she checked, it was already ten thirty.
"Morning."
Seeing Amos lean in to kiss her, she pushed his face away irritably, wanting to get out of bed, but he pulled her back.
"You don't have any scenes to film this morning."
Bertha was stunned, had she remembered wrong? She was sure she had some.
Amos: "I had them rescheduled to the afternoon for you."
Bertha: "You—"
Amos brushed the hair off her cheek: "I heard you haven't had a proper rest for over ten days, just look at those dark circles, they're making you look ugly."
Bertha pushed him and sat up: "Then don't look at me if I'm ugly."
