Chapter 233 - Chapter 233: The Past—I'm the Only One Who Remembers, and I'm Not Happy About It

Amos Smith actually wanted to mock Bertha Haines a bit more, but seeing her gloomy expression, he softened.

"I'll head back first."

Bertha bid farewell to Amos Smith and left the hospital directly. She didn't bother looking at the other test results. Just as she stepped out of the hospital door, fine rain started to fall, dropping onto her face, cool and cold.

The bodyguard promptly came with an umbrella and escorted her to the car.

Throughout the journey, she remained silent, seemingly looking out the window but actually without focus.

After returning to the villa, she locked herself in the bedroom until Clare Lewis returned from outside, only then did she call him into the study.

"Can you give me an explanation?"

Bertha sat in the office chair, pushing the test results forward. Even though she was convinced that her amnesia was related to Clare, she still wanted to get verification from Kerr.
