"Auntie, I want to eat braised ribs."
"Auntie, I want sweet and sour fish."
"Auntie, I also want dumplings, the three-delicacy kind."
"Auntie, I want shallot pork stuffing."
"..."
"Okay, okay, Auntie will make them for you right away."
Bertha saw that April was busy, so she didn't disturb her further.
"You go ahead, I'll take these two to the private room to sit for a while."
"Alright, I'll be there shortly."
After Bertha and the others left the kitchen, April immediately informed her eldest sister.
"From now on, we're not taking any more customers, we're taking a day off."
Running a restaurant rarely allows for a day off; you have to work every day, so April especially loves holidays, especially New Year's, when she gives herself and her family a few days off.
When April brought the last two dishes into the private room, Bertha was busy serving the two little ancestors their meals.
"Is this enough? If not, I'll cook a couple more dishes."
