Without warning, Krono suddenly acted. His eyes flared with brilliant light and the cavern trembled with the sudden surge of his power. He didn't announce what he was doing because he was too eager to reach an answer, too intent on tearing through the uncertainty in front of them as soon as possible.
Erend, Eccar, and Aesa immediately felt the changes. The air grew thick with pressure as ripples spread from Krono's body, distorting the space around him like heat bending the horizon.
Each ripple carried the sense of time rushing forward at impossible speeds. Entire streams of moments flashing past in an instant.
To the three, it was like peering through cracks in a wall. They can see shards of glimpses that were so fractured and uncertain, but undeniably there and happened around them. Something was moving beyond those cracks but for them it was too vast to fully see.
