Chen Mobai stepped out of the Primordial Water Control Banner, and instantly, the annihilating torrent that originally surged towards this side began to split. The vast majority came towards him, but a small portion still fell over the heads of Gui Ling and Qing Nu, blocked by Heaven and Sea.
This means that Chen Mobai's guess was correct.
He absorbed Gui Ling's entire cultivation with the Primordial Demon Talisman and indeed could transcend the Annihilation Tribulation. But if he fails to transcend, Gui Ling and Qing Nu, as the source of the tribulation, even without Primordial Realm, cannot escape.
With this realization, Chen Mobai's face grew even more resolute.
This Annihilation Tribulation must be transcended.
With these thoughts, he hesitated no more, activating the Void Demon Path, instantly distancing himself from the Primordial Water Control Banner and stepping into the depths of chaos.
