After breakfast, William Don took Elise Don into the study and sat down across the desk, handing over a contract.
Elise Don sat hugging her legs on the swivel chair, flipping through page by page. After she finished the last page, she showed a charming smile.
"20% of the company's shares, for me?"
"Yes," William Don smiled contentedly, "The company plans to go public this year, and then, Dad will let you join the board of directors."
That means this 20% isn't even a proxy holding, but actual leadership and say in the company.
Elise Don crossed the desk barefoot and hugged William Don's shoulders from behind.
"You're simply the best dad in the world!"
Elise Don reached over the keyboard and grabbed a pen from the pencil holder, signing her name in every place William Don pointed out.
The share transfer contract had already been stamped with the official seal, so Elise Don's signature made it effective.
