After coming out of the movie, Elise Don gathered the food packaging and tossed it into the trash can. She turned around and saw Oliver Bloom standing at the bustling exit, waiting for her.
She rubbed her hands and felt inexplicably satisfied.
Elise joined him and naturally took his hand, riding the escalator downstairs with the crowd.
The mall was packed with people and known brand restaurants everywhere. Elise had enough of that, so she dragged Oliver out of the mall, saying they should go to the pedestrian street.
There were food stalls there, mostly quick-fried dishes with a strong local flavor, whetting one's appetite.
Elise dragged Oliver along, eating and strolling, until they were both stuffed.
The end of the pedestrian street was The Bund. Chester City also had waterways, where inland rivers met the sea, fenced off to form an observation deck. At its highest point stood a Ferris wheel.
Dubbed the eye of Chester City, it was one of the landmarks of the city.
