After learning that Elise Don had bought shares in Liam Shane's bar, Oliver Bloom stayed silent for half a day.
"I didn't force her!" Liam Shane was familiar with Oliver Bloom's stern face. "Ask her yourself."
When the video call focused on Elise Don, she was holding blueprints, gesturing with construction workers. Upon hearing Liam Shane call her name, she seemed a bit irritable.
"Wait a minute!"
Liam Shane turned the camera back, smiling: "She said herself she had nothing to do during winter break, so she decided to play around with a bar, to avoid giving money to others in the future."
Elise Don finally finished her instructions, pulling up her wide work pants, and ran over. Not looking at her face, she was dressed no differently than a construction worker.
"Oliver Bloom."
She gave Oliver Bloom a smile, but received no response.
Oliver Bloom asked in a low voice: "You said you had nothing to do during winter break?"
Elise Don stammered, only managing a dry smile.
