The team doctor cleaned the wound and gave him a shot to temporarily block the pain in the joint.
Oliver stepped down from the operating table, moved his shoulder a bit, and indeed felt a bit more relaxed.
He said to Raydeep, "See, I'm fine now."
Raydeep knew Oliver's personality. Ever since he was young, Oliver wasn't much of a talker, yet was extremely reliable. Whatever training he was assigned, he would always complete it with quality and quantity guaranteed. This reliability, however, was precisely what displeased Raydeep the most now.
If he hadn't woken up early to review the competition footage and noticed Oliver's slight abnormality in freestyle, he might not have known that Oliver's old injury had flared up again.
Raydeep said, "Don't overexert yourself. If your shoulder still hurts, give up on the freestyle."
Both the team doctor and Oliver were taken aback.
