Katherine Blue's heart was pounding like a drum. This document did pass through her hands, but she only made the modifications that were required without embellishments. How could it be like this? She couldn't quite explain it.
A thought flashed through her mind, but she didn't voice it.
Lily couldn't sit still anymore; she seemed deeply humiliated, standing there. "Jared, I've been with you for so many years, from Milan to Northern City. How come even a little intern can make things so difficult for you?"
Shay Windsor rubbed his forehead, "I think we should let Katherine explain first why she made the changes. Everyone deserves a chance to explain themselves, don't you think, Lily?"
"Fine, let's hear your explanation."
All eyes turned back to Katherine, weighing heavily on her shoulders.
But Katherine didn't know how to explain!
