Elise Don straightened her bohemian-style long dress and tousled hair, and walked over.
The door to William Don's office was open, and lively conversation could be heard inside. Elise Don knocked and entered, noticing Shay Windsor's presence. She paused briefly but still greeted him politely.
"Mr. Windsor."
Shay Windsor stood up. "Miss Don."
The two sat down on the sofa, one on the east side, the other on the west, separated by a tea table.
Elise Don tried her best not to look at Shay Windsor. His meaningful expression had already conveyed to her that their breakup was no longer a secret.
Elise Don coldly turned her gaze to William Don.
William Don pretended to be unaware, casually and quickly filling their teacups.
"JQ has ordered another batch of fabric from us. Mr. Windsor is here, Lily, please accompany him. If the samples aren't in the showroom, arrange for someone to find them at the factory. Let's not let Mr. Windsor make a wasted trip this time."
