At the airport, people come and go, planes take off and land, it finally feels like being back among the living.
Oliver Bloom accompanied Elise Don to check in and saw her off at the gate.
"Next time, don't travel alone for something like this. I have a complete team behind me, along with the political support of the headquarters. Negative news is just temporary; once the heat fades, everyone will forget."
"Don't worry."
Elise Don insisted, "I'm really here on a business trip, and it just so happens, I'm going back today."
Oliver Bloom looked at Elise Don; she didn't even have a bag with her. This business trip seemed quite casual.
He smiled faintly and said, time is almost up, you should go in.
"You..." Elise Don came all this way, hoping for something in return and thus asked, "When... will you return home?"
Oliver Bloom looked at the billboard far behind her, stared for a long time, then looked back at her and spoke.
"In the short term, I probably won't be returning."
