As they counted the rooms one by one, Elise Don suddenly stopped, "2018—here we are."
For a moment, Elise wished that this corridor would never end.
That way, she wouldn't have to eat this unpleasant meal, or see those unpleasant people... how nice it would be.
She was thinking just that.
"Elise," Oliver Bloom, following behind, suddenly spoke up.
Elise turned her head, puzzled.
"What?"
He paused for a moment, then said, "Claire's club sponsored this university games."
Elise thought for a moment, not knowing what this had to do with today's meal.
Elise replied with her usual bluntness: "So what?"
"So, they're here to watch the event purely out of a professional obligation."
So, Oliver accompanies them to watch the event also out of a professional obligation.
He was explaining.
Afraid that Elise would have some kind of misunderstanding, so Oliver explained.
