On the way home, Elise Don's mood could be described as eager to return; she kept urging A Wu to drive faster and finally arrived at the underground parking lot five minutes earlier than usual.
Coincidentally, Oliver Bloom's white car was also in the adjacent spot. Both drivers, in a display of tacit understanding, parked their cars, walked to the rear simultaneously, and opened the car doors.
Elise Don moved faster, holding her coat and handbag, and reached the elevator hall first to press the button.
Oliver Bloom came down while talking on the phone, his black wool coat reaching past his knees, swaying slightly as he walked, exuding a commanding and solemn presence.
Thinking about the outrageous things he did today and seeing that face which could disrupt anyone's values, the little fawn in Elise Don's heart jumped up high.
"Yes, I just read the email. Richard White no longer poses a threat... Everything must be prepared before the board re-election."
