"Thanks." Elise Don lowered her eyes, still looking like she hadn't woken up.
Oliver Bloom lowered his gaze, sweeping over her snow-white nape, where there was a faint purple flower, not very noticeable. Only he knew that was something he left in a moment of uncontrollable passion.
"Are you tired?"
He asked out of pure concern, but this only drew unsolicited hostility from Elise Don.
Elise Don resisted the urge to punch the man, clenched her small fists, about to raise them, when she heard Justin Campbell roar from the dining table, "Keep it down, you two!"
The people at the table were making faces, talking about something unknown, but it was obviously secretive. Elise Don looked around and noticed Raydeep and Miles Hunter were missing, a realization dawned on her.
The gossip-loving side of Elise Don flared up, and her small fist immediately turned into a gentle touch, hooking onto Oliver Bloom's arm.
