Ray calmly sits alone in a room within his palace, waiting for the trials to resume, 'Soon this will all finally be over... I feel the next few trials should be simple for the most part, but there is something about Contal that is making me feel uneasy. Marrin said something had to have led him to hold this grudge for as long as he has, and even Vulserion said the 'Eyes of the Lost' group meant a lot more to him.'
"It'd be helpful to know what I did to piss him off this much," Ray rubs his neck with an annoyed sigh, 'I don't remember him from our world, was he warned of me or something? If he only saw me on the bus, there wouldn't be any need to be this cautious of me, or to have that much anger.'
Ray's thoughts are interrupted when he senses someone entering the room, "Hm? Oh, Ronz, is it time?"
"No, not yet," Ronz leans against the wall with a serious expression, "I know the odds of us winning the trials now are pretty much certain, but something feels off."
