"Name your price and be mine…" Hearing Ms. Jolly's offer, someone's eyes flared with anger. From the shadows, hidden from Abaddon's view, Eric stood at the edge of the club, quietly observing.
The way Ms. Jolly's fingers trailed along Abaddon's face and chest ignited a raging fire inside him. He clenched the handbag in his hand so tightly his knuckles turned white.
"Still playing ignorant…" When Abaddon didn't react positively, Ms. Jolly's tone sharpened. She slapped him across the face. The sharp edge of her ring cut his cheek, and the sight of blood awakened something twisted inside her. "You really excite me…" She grabbed his collar and pulled him close as if to kiss him.
But at that very moment, Ms. Jolly had no idea what trouble she had invited upon herself.
