after talking to The girl, who I now know the name of, it's Beatrice by the way, and betty to her friends.
I apologies to her for not being able to visit her library until after the fight, and as I exit the mansion, I feel a twist in my original return by death power. I can probably control it to make it exactly when I want it. I then make the checkpoint move after stretching.
I walk out into the clearing with the others, totally unprepared to fight an overpowered mage.
"ready?" I ask,
Roswaal responds quickly, "of course, let us begin." I activate bullet time just in time to use my mover abilities to avoid a massive tower of flame that erupts beneath me, the flames then Compress into a ball and start chasing me in the form of some demented flaming birds. I go for roswaal hoping to knock him out, only to punch a barrier of light which stalls me and then shatters shortly after. I am then incinerated by the birds which when they touch me explode into a sphere of flame all around me, the last thing i hear is Ram screeching "ROSWAAAAAAAAAAAAL! YOU KILLED REM! YOU KILLED MY SISTER WITH A STUPID FUCKING FIRE SP-"

I am awoken from my shock when the girl who just died with me taps me on the shoulder.
Roswaal is rather callous.
"You okay?" she asks, conscerned. "You look rather pale."
I frown, "Just a bad memory." yeah. from literally two seconds ago in another timeline.
I dump the point into barrier projection.
I can now project 2 relatively weak barriers. one around me and one around someone else.
Rem and I die 4 more times, in the exact same way.
"ROSWAAAAAAAAAAAAL! YOU KILLED REM! YOU KILLED MY SISTER WITH A STUPID FUCKING FIRE SP-"!

I dump those 5 points into the barrier ability.
I run through the fight the same way I did before, but right as we are about to be incinerated again, I put a barrier around me and Rem, and jump back!
"ROSWAAAAAAAAAAAAL! YOU ALMOST KILLED REM! YOU ALMOST KILLED MY SISTER WITH A STUPID FUCKING FIRE SPELL!" I look at Rem who has some nasty 1st degree burns all over her body. shes healing visibly quickly though.
"Hey motherfucker, if I didn't use one of my divine blessings to throw up a barrier for her she would have died!"
Ram starts to shout. "I quit! you don't pay me enough to endanger my sister! this is the last straw! You've broken our contract."
"I have done no such thing, it was simply a mis-" Emelia comes up in front of him and slaps him in the face.
"I Emelia Elior, strip you of your title of margrave. Get out! I'm seizing your property!"
then storms off into the Mansion. Rem and Ram following behind her.
"How could the gospel have been wrong? he mutters." But I hear him all the same.
He then starts charging up a massive amount of magic. with a face full of rage, I move my save point forward to here. because fuck Roswaal.
He aims for the three of them.
I dash forward as fast as I can, and punch him in the gut, causing the spell to misfire into the forest.
"Hey, Clown-man, What the fuck are you doing? attacking them while their backs are turned?! That's fucking dirty."
Ram Immediately hands Rem over to Emelia who brings her inside, she then summons some brutal looking kukri. two on her thighs and two in her hands, an aura of wind starts radiating from her, cutting anything within striking distance. Roswaal puts up a barrier, but then I smash it with my fist. He looks shocked, right as his entire body below the belt is shredded. He only fly upward fast enough to save his upper body. He sluggishly floats upward, only for Ram to shout,
"ULCA FURA!!!!" and massive tornado of cutting wind forms around the sluggish Roswaal. He barely has time to take another breath as he immediately is consumed.
I create a barrier around myself. I am pushed away towards the mansion.

1 hour later. in the dining room.

"I'm sorry, I can't hire you."
she then turns to Rem and Ram "I also can't maintain the service of two highly qualified battle-maids such as yourselves."
she starts to cry. "I'm out of the competition for the throne unless i can find another backer. I also have to return the Margrave's property to the kingdom of Lugunica."
I frown, "isn't there anything we can do?"
she responds quickly still sobbing. "There's no recourse. there's nothing I can do." I go around the table and hug her. She sobs into my shoulder.
Rem and Ram, now wearing matching pink and blue blouses and blue and pink pants join the hug.
"Why not join the adventurers guild?" I ask, "Since you aren't a royal candidate anymore, we have to make money somehow."
She nods into my shoulder.
within two hours a land-dragon carriage is brought towards the mansion.
within another three and a half, we are at a town half way to the capital.
