Elder Sutton saw Durrell Landon protecting Quiana Sutton so fiercely, his hands clenched around his cane, lightly tapping with his middle finger. After a while, a mysterious smirk appeared on his lips, like a sneer: "Now you've found someone to rely on, do you finally have the guts to defy your grandfather?"

Even though she had become accustomed to it long ago, all her accumulated courage and resolve were still replaced by boundless sorrow.

After a long silence, she spoke indifferently, "Grandpa... do you think I'm still the same person I was back then? If I don't want to leave, no one can force me."

As he looked at Quiana Sutton standing in front of him, her face seemed to slowly merge with the one in his memories.
