Chapter 80 - Chapter 80: Whatever Others Have, My Ava Must Have Too

"What did you think of?" Julius Goodman asked.

"I'm not telling you."

Ava Kent teased and put back the scarf she was holding, then picked a beige-golden one: "That previous color was a bit dull, this one looks better, don't you think?"

Julius indeed wasn't good at picking these things, but he knew if his girlfriend said so, it must be right. Besides, the carvings were the same, just a different color.

"Looks good."

The sales assistant chimed in with praise, "This one exudes more elegance and it suits your complexion well."

Ava: "..."

Whatever I say, you'll praise it anyway. However, being affirmed on her taste made Ava feel great inside.

"I'll get one for my mom too, so she doesn't see Mrs. Goodman wearing one and think I'm playing favorites."

Julius leaned against the glass display case behind him, looking down at her as she seriously picked out gifts, his gaze gentle as water.
