Ava Kent swiftly placed the triangular iron frame in place and, as she went to push the cart, accidentally stepped on a feather duster, snapping something in half with a crack.
Jennifer Von glanced back, seemingly unconcerned, and even complimented Ava Kent, "Ava, you've really grown up, helping your mom with the cart now."
"Look at you saying that. I've helped you with the cart before, and quite a few times too."
The mother and daughter returned home one after the other, leaving the snapped feather duster unattended on the ground.
