"Do you really not know, or are you just pretending?" Ava Kent slightly curled her lips, sarcasm in her eyes.
Mia Burton leaned against the wall of the elevator, still rubbing the large bump on her forehead. Perhaps hearing their conversation, she tearfully tried to focus on Ian Roan in front of her.
Ian Roan noticed her off tone and slightly furrowed his brows, "What do you mean by this?"
"Don't you know what your Rowe Family has done?" Ava retorted.
Ian Roan felt a bit puzzled. Just then, Mia finally recognized the person in front of her and couldn't help mumbling, "We haven't been here for a month or two, and the moment we come, we run into this jinx. What bad luck."
Ian Roan hadn't noticed her before, but upon hearing the voice, he realized who it was. His eyes flashed, suspecting that Rachel Bow had tipped them off.
"Miss Burton? I've heard your resources have been great lately. Still feeling sad about leaving 'Shining Star'? Is this why you're drinking?"
