The customers in the store scattered in all directions, pushed into a corner by several gun-wielding thugs. Seeing those who were shot dead lying motionless on the ground, everyone was terrified, hurriedly taking out the cash on them. The ladies removed all the jewelry they could and obediently handed it over to the robbers.
"What are you standing around for? Hand over the money."
A man searching between the shelves noticed her and walked over menacingly.
Ava Kent quickly raised her hands, retreating with a face full of panic, "Sir, let's talk this out. It's just money; I have plenty of it."
"Then hurry up and hand it over."
The man laughed instantly, reaching for her bag, but still kept the gun aimed at her.
Ava seized the opportunity and slashed his wrist with a knife, making him cry out in pain.
Ava took the chance to kick him in the chest, snatching the gun that fell from his grip.
