Godfery Shaw left the old town.
He returned to the Imperial Garden but couldn't calm down.
He always felt like something beyond his expectations was about to happen, and the things he was planning needed to be done faster, even faster.
He opened the small box, took out the bracelet inside, and put it on his wrist.
There were now two bracelets on his left wrist, one hidden under his shirt sleeve, the other exposed.
Just like him, there was a side that couldn't see the light.
Seeing Godfery Shaw leave, Edward Allen immediately softened his stance: "Amelia, I didn't mean to barge in, I thought... Godfery Shaw was bullying you."
Amelia Wright nodded in understanding: "It's okay, nothing's going to happen between me and Godfery Shaw. It's late, Mr. Allen, you should rest too."
Edward Allen said in a resigned manner, "Anyway, Emily calls you aunt, so you don't need to call me Mr. Allen anymore, just call me brother."
