Standing below the tall building, Nancy asked uneasily, "Sophie, are you sure you want to go by yourself?"
Sophie nodded confidently, pointing to her phone watch, "It's no problem, I'll go by myself. If there's any issue, I'll call Mom."
Nancy nodded.
She could indeed go directly to see Godfery Shaw and talk to him.
If things were settled, Godfery might change his attitude.
But this way of handling it could hurt Sophie.
Maybe her father didn't want her, and only accepted her reluctantly because of her mother.
Nancy didn't want the child to have this psychological shadow, so she let Sophie handle it herself.
When Godfery accepted the child, she would then go to see him.
She didn't even ask Sophie how she planned to do it, letting the child decide everything on her own.
