Godfery Shaw said to Ian Bailey, "Nancy has been in the water for too long. She has a fever. I gave her two doses of antipyretic based on the dosage I know, with roughly four-hour intervals."

Godfery Shaw looked like the injured one, but everyone present was used to him putting Nancy first.

Even Ian Bailey was used to it.

To Godfery Shaw, stomach bleeding, insomnia—these were nothing serious.

But for this little girl he protected as if she were his own eyes, every bump and bruise was a big deal.

Ian Bailey took Nancy's pulse, and his expression became instantly serious. He urgently said, "The heart is beating slowly! Quickly, bring my medical kit over!"

Godfery Shaw felt a tightness in his chest.

Someone immediately handed the medical kit to Ian Bailey.

Ian Bailey took out silver needles from the kit, disinfected them, and quickly inserted them into Nancy's body.

Godfery Shaw watched from the side, his hand clenched into a tight fist.
