"Hmph. Her?" Yun Shan rolled her eyes and turned to walk ahead, completely disregarding Shen Yin. "She's just an abandoned dog."
The junior assistant gasped and glanced fearfully at Shen Yin, who stood behind her, smiling. She quickly clasped her hands together and bowed in silent apology before hurriedly catching up with Yun Shan and carefully shadowing her.
"Sister, where have you been? I've finally found you." Meng Heng was sweating profusely as he ran towards Shen Yin. He handed her a stack of documents. "There's a new development in the case. Sister, do you want to see it?"
"I'll take a look at it later. Put it on my desk." She pursed her mouth at Yun Shan, who had stopped and twisted around to stare at Meng Heng. "I'm still busy here."
"Alright." Meng Heng did not even look at Yun Shan. He had a high nose, and his large eyes were filled with disappointment. The documents in his hand were already crumpled from his tight grip. "Sister, please go ahead. I'll go back."
