Ian merely smiled.
Clenching his teeth, Yisen Gard wanted to say something more, but in reality, ever since the exploration began, he had vaguely sensed the complex thoughts in Ian's heart... From the start, Ian was 'aware of the danger yet still insisted on doing', and even Crown Prince Carlos noticed it, which is why he pointed it out on purpose.
Besides... stopping him would be useless. Clearly, there was something in the Exotic Species Research Institute worth Ian risking his life for, and even mentioning it could provoke conflict and crisis.
