Parallel Universe.
Everyone present could understand the concept, but not the significance of Kerraith mentioning this term.
The universe was born from a great explosion, and the infinite space-time we exist in was created as a result — but in reality, that explosion resulted in not just infinite space-time, but infinite parallel space-times as well.
Once it was confirmed that everyone present was aware of the concept of 'parallel universes', Kerraith wasted no words and directly explained: "Infinite parallel space-times represent infinite possibilities. Every time the universe experiences the smallest change in the smallest amount of time, a brand new parallel universe is born."
"In fact, there might even be parallel universes exactly like our own 'past' and 'future' — no, it's not even a possibility, for the number is infinite, and there are inevitably parallel universes where the same events occur, just at different times."
