Qiu Shui let out a cold laugh, "If I strike you with my sword, perhaps I might trust you a bit more."
Ye Sui smiled slightly, "You are a young lady. Being so violent isn't good. If you were more ladylike, you might be more likable."
Qiu Shui was utterly indifferent.
Perhaps when she was little, she felt unbalanced in her heart because she and Qiu Shan grew up together, and they were about the same age. At that time, Ye Sui was indeed considered an approachable elder in their childish minds.
Being children, they naturally wanted to earn the elder's praise and attention.
But children are the most sensitive. Even though Ye Sui seemed to treat Qiu Shui and Qiu Shan equally, Qiu Shui noticed early on that Ye Sui favored Qiu Shan more.
When she was younger, she felt dissatisfied because she didn't think she was any less than Qiu Shan. As she grew older, she no longer cared about such trivial matters.
Ye Sui asked her if she trusted him.
