ONE WEEK LATER
Jaden didn't come back home and Serena was more than happy and thesame time sad that she had no connection with the outside world.
During those days she tried making friend with the maids but no, they refused saying its forbidden.
She then ventured to eating, sleeping and watching movies, sometimes she dip her leg in the pool while wishing that she could go back home. She no longer had that slim model figure as she seem to have added weight, cause all she does is eat and sleep. Her face was looking so full like that of a baby.
Sometimes she would talk to herself, sing loudly while taking a shower, dreaming of how she wanted her life to be not wishing to wake up.
She failed to notice that the numbers of maids kept reducing the following week, until she requested for the maid who made her food the other day and was told that she got fired.
Fired but I didn't do such a thing, I complained.
The boss called, one of the maid said.
He did, I said in a daze.
NEXT MORNING
I got up so late, freshen up and got dressed, headed downstairs. I sat down at the dinning table as usual but nobody came to serve me. I then stood up and went to the kitchen.
Nothing was prepared and the kitchen was sparkling g clean.
Serena walked around the house, calling out to the maid and drivers but no one answered then she came to a realisation that she was alone in the mansion.
No this can't be, it's not possible. They probably went out, maybe to get something, she kept saying trying to console herself.
She sat down at the living room for the next three hours but no one came. She was so damn hungry and decided to enter the kitchen.
INSIDE THE KITCHEN
Guess it's me against the world, I muttered while starring g at the kitchen not knowing what to do.
I opened the refrigerator and collected strawberry to eat while still moving around looking for what to eat. At the end I settled for cereals after which I watched a movie ad fell asleep on the couch.
Serena woke up in the evening and then remember that the maids would be probably back by now, so she called out to them but got no response and went in search of them.
It can't be, I can't be the only one left in this mansion, she said dreading the feeling of loneliness that was creeping in.
No!!!!!!, she screamed and started breaking things in the living room with tears running down her eyes.
She finally calm down still in tears while starring at the mess she made. In that state she walked towards the gate but the guards won't let her step out.
She had no choice bit to go back inside, take a hot shower and lie down on the bed while starring at the ceiling with a blank expression, before falling asleep.
FOR THE NEXT TWO DAYS
She would wake up, freshen up and hurry to the kitchen to eat the usual(cereals) but today was different as she seem to have run out of cereals.
Looking at the empty containers she burst into tears. 'Ahhh what am I going to do, I can't do anything, my nails are gonna get spoilt. There's no single food in this kitchen, she screamed looking at all the fully stocked beverages and foodstuffs.
She then walked into the living room with a bottle of jam and biscuit in her hand while starring at the mess she made few days back that still remained thesame.
She avoided the broken piece of glass and gently sat on the couch, switch on the tv while munching on her snacks happily.
