"Once you're used to calling it, it's hard to change."
Arthur whistled, then looked curiously at the girl before him, whose eyes flickered: "So, you've come here to..."
"I'm sorry."
The girl's expression remained cold, and she apologized to Arthur in a tone that seemed to say, 'go to hell'.
The latter was momentarily stunned: "Huh?"
"I said..."
Ji Xiaodao furrowed her brows, looking somewhat reluctant as she repeated, "I'm sorry."
Arthur's expression suddenly became complex, and after a long silence, he fixed his handsome face in a look of bemusement, softly asking, "Why apologize?"
"Why?"
Ji Xiaodao looked at Arthur with some confusion, pausing for a long moment before saying calmly, "Just thought it necessary to say this to you."
Arthur, however, showed no sign of comfort, instead letting out a long sigh: "You should leave."
"Alright."
Ji Xiaodao, who had only come to apologize, immediately nodded and turned to leave.
"No, I didn't mean that."
