"Steps?"
Kassandra scratched her fiery red hair, looking bewilderedly at Lucie: "What steps? What does that mean?"
The latter didn't respond, just sipped the tea provided free by the Archaeologist Association, then glanced at Motan, who was smiling at her: "You see through it very clearly."
"Perhaps because I've interacted with Lady Scarlett a bit more, so I can vaguely sense some of her true thoughts."
Motan shrugged nonchalantly, speaking with modesty and calmness: "Obviously, your clever plan earlier suited her taste."
Lucie shook her head, saying blandly: "I think it's more that Aliang as a person suits her taste."
"It's Aliang."
Motan corrected with a wry smile.
"Alright, then it's Aliang."
Lucie nodded compliantly, then refilled her cup with warm tea, speaking in a very casual tone: "In any case, the result is good."
"But I still mind a little."
"Hmm, I'm sorry, I didn't realize you, who look so dignified, could also be quite cunning."
