"Nathan White! What are you trying to do to Ruby Mercer now? Have you gone mad?!"
At Oakes' sudden appearance, Nathan White seemed unfazed. He glanced at Oakes and turned to enter the room.
Oakes followed closely behind. Unlike his usual vibrant self, he now had sunken eyes and pale lips.
He was a completely different person from his previously refined self.
"Oakes, once you've left, you shouldn't appear before me again! Someone, help me tie him up!"
Soon enough, Oakes was unsurprisingly tied up.
"Nathan White! Turn back! You were wrong—ever since the moment you met Ruby Mercer six years ago, you were wrong! Are you really going to drug Ruby's child? This won't make Ruby stay with you."
"Didn't you hear, Nathan White? You're going to regret this!"
"Ruby Mercer will hate you. She'll hate you for a lifetime!"
Nathan White chuckled. Hatred is better than being forgotten.
