EMERGENCY ROOM :
His forehead wrinkled in a frown,as he discovered something."She was here".Tyler said kneeling on one kneel and the others bent in a 90-degree in front of him.He blew away the dust on his hands and studied the almost invincible footprints.Thankfully he wasn't human,so he had far more better sight.
"She wasn't here alone",Tyler stood starting straight at them "Another creature was here ,three to be precise,there scent is so strong i can't sniff it out". The Alpha said with rage in his voice .
Eric sniffed the air too,his expression changed at instant,his nose wrinkled in disgust,"God!" he shouted,"it can't be ".This scent is so familiar . "Its a rare creature but am sure I've encountered it before" ,Lucy said from behind.
"smells exactly like a vampire"
Tyler's reactions changed completely,his gaze darkened and his expression murderous.
Eric and Lucy moved back, sensing the murderous intent and aura coming from their Alpha.
Tyler at once turned and faced sam,The staff who let them inside the hospital.They could sneak in if they'd wanted to,but they had to act according to the law and protocol given by the Illuminati,especially with those nuisance Cops around ,they didn't want to cause unnecessary problems that the Illuminati could use against them.
"You let a vampire into this hospital!?"Tyler roared,grabbing the poor staff by the neck and lifting him off the ground.
"I..I...i didn't know they were vampires and besides I'm just a common staff here,i don't know anything that's happening in the patient room,please spare my life",sam tries to explain choking with sobs and in pains.
"Tyler!,the guy's right,let him down please"Eric interceded on the guys behalf.He knew how easily Tyler could get angry and loose control,and shit might go wrong if Tyler kills that staff.
After slight hesitation,he let go and the staff crumpling on the ground.Fighting to keep his anger in check,he took a deep breath,knowing how easy it is for a werewolf to lose control.
Pale and shaking with fear, sam ran with the speed of light before the Alphas mood changes again.He wouldn't want to be that collateral damage in what ever was going on .
"You scared that poor guy away" Eric said
"Like i gave a f*ck about him "Tyler retorted grimly.
" Its not Sam's fault,you know how vampires can be so trickish and cunning ,besides he might be compeled" Eric tried to explain but of cause his stubborn Alpha refused to listen.
"something is actually wrong here",Lucy said drawing everyone's attention.
"Vampires don't move during day light, but this scene clearly looked like they did"
They all knew Lucy was right,Vampire's are vicious creature's that can't move around in broad day light only at night ,which they use to hunt and draw blood from their victim in other to survive.
"Maybe they're been protected by something"Eric said ,rubbing his jaw.
"Or someone", Tyler corrected Eric's statement.
"ok I'm lost here "Lucy finally concluded,looking at both Tyler and Eric.
Tyler couldn't help but take a long deep breath"Her scent got stronger,its intoxicating almost like a drug".
Lucy, grabbed her hair in horror "Alpha your mate was in trouble!".
"Is" Tyler corrected pointing to the ground where the scene happened."There are sign of her trying to struggle before she vanished"
"A person who knows how to vanish without casting a spell" Lucy murmured,"They're no signs of magic.Whenever a spell is casted,it always leaves some sort of remnants behind
which might be invincible to humans,but not to the supernaturals.
"Vampires" Eric said while Lucy nodded her head positively.That explains the other disgusting scent earlier.
"Not just Vampire's,but ones from the DEGON'S CLAN".Tyler said calmly but he was boiling in the inside ,As much as he appreciated them for saving his mate from the hospital before she turns everyone into her meal,He didn't want their filthy hands on his mate.
They both could sense that their Alpha was furious. Well ,what can they say ,Werewolf and Vampire's ain't in good terms because Vampires are known for there cunning and destructive nature ,In that case Alpha Tyler and Michael were always at loggerheads with each other, they don't see eye to eye on most issues,because it never always end well for the both of them.
Tyler clutched his fists,It was obvious one of Michael's men had his mate.As members of the degon's clan,it wasn't a surprise to find a vampire with special abilities.And moreover its only the degon's clan that can host such abilities.
No other vampire clans dears to cross Tyler's path ,because they're going to pay with their lives .But Degon's clan was different , they always gets on Tyler's nerves.
"Its about time i pay the degon's clan a visit" Tyler said, walking out of the hospital emergency room he banged the door behind Eric and Lucy. "He probably won't let this one slide" Lucy turned towards Eric, wagging and using her hands to arrange her hair. "Let's Go after him before he goes to the Degon's clan all by himself" Said Eric, without paying attention to whatever plans Lucy has at hand. Feeling frustrated she walked out of the door without even looking back, noticing what just happened, Eric smiled and followed after her from behind.
