A mere group of Cultists is naturally not a match for Duanmu Huai, but the Ancient God they worship does pique Duanmu Huai's interest. After helping the Dwarves reclaim Danmode, Duanmu Huai found Sargas and inquired about the Ancient Gods.
According to Sargas, in the distant past, Azeroth was ruled by Ancient Gods, during what was known as the Dark Empire era. Later, the Dark Empire era ended, and the Ancient Gods ruling Azeroth were sealed away. Currently, there are three sealed Ancient Gods: N'Zoth, C'Thun, and Yogg-Saron.
As for the whereabouts of these three Ancient Gods, Sargas isn't quite sure. He only knows that C'Thun is sealed in Ahn'Qiraj. The believers of this Twilight Hammer hope that one day their worshipped Ancient God can break free from the seal and return to this world. Why these lunatics wish to do so, however... is unknown.
