Shi Ban Zhi is a detective, and not long ago, he took on a commission to investigate—a young girl unfortunately passed away, and her corpse was found not far from the school, in the woods. When discovered, the girl's body had already been torn to pieces. According to the forensic determination, this was done by some kind of wild animal.
Of course, the authorities deemed it an accident, meaning the girl had encountered a bear in the woods and was killed.
Well, bear attacks are not uncommon in Japan, so on the surface, this doesn't seem like a problem.
But the girl's brother obviously doesn't think so. He insists that this is a murder and has his own reasons.
