Nianyang curved her lips into a slight smile, just about to continue speaking when suddenly a sharp scream came from the direction of the second floor, vaguely calling for a doctor.
"What's happening?"
The middle-aged woman was startled, and without minding Nianyang, she hurriedly ran upstairs.
Upon hearing "doctor," Nianyang almost instinctively followed her upstairs, with Li Tingyan right behind her.
There were more guests on the second floor compared to the first. As soon as Nianyang got up there, she saw many people gathered in the middle of the hall, discussing about an elderly man with graying hair who was lying on the ground, convulsing continuously, foaming at the mouth, his eyes rolling back.
Most people were probably afraid of getting involved, so they just stood by and watched.
