Apart from the lingering devastation, not a trace of blood was left. It was as if the place had returned to its former state—the deceptively tranquil, captivating appearance of the dim, yellow wilderness, seemingly unremarkable yet hiding vitality everywhere. If one hadn't witnessed the great battle moments before, no one would ever know what kind of grand confrontation had occurred right there. Even if such a battle had taken place deep within a human city, martial power of this magnitude might have caused the city itself to collapse. Such formidable martial power!
But, unattended, it was ultimately destined for the winds and sands of nature to restore its original appearance, erasing all traces of what had transpired. It would revert to its former ordinary, peaceful, and comfortable state. Not that anyone cared.
