So, I'm a demon... and apparently, I'm a low-level one. Well, that's not so bad I guess... I looked at my stat screen, seeing the information. I felt slightly confused at first, but then I got over it. I'd have to learn to accept the fact, right?
And hey, I'm pretty high on Intelligence and luck, although I'm not sure why the luck stat was high considering what happened with the airplane and stuff...
I looked at the stats again and noticed something absurd. I blinked a few times and reread it several times, but I still couldn't believe it.
─Luck: 17
─Charm: 0
My charm was zero... Seriously? Why!! How could it be zero?! I was the most charming person, and everyone loved me! I mean, I was a total ladies' man, everyone wanted me, and I could turn anyone on just by walking into the room. Even the most frigid of women would fall for me. They lined up for me!
Okay, that's enough fantasy.....now back to reality. I'm a demon now, maybe my appearance changed, and even if I want to, I can't see that well so I'm unable to make sure how I looked. I stared at my stats for a while, then decided to take a look at the skills.
─Skills: {Bite LV1}: Attacks with sharp fangs, dealing damage.
Bite? This is a skill!? I have played games before, but never have I come across a skill like this. That's just plain strange, right?
It said sharp fangs.....so do I have actual sharp fangs? I open my mouth, feeling the sharp fangs inside. Yep, I definitely have sharp fangs, REAL ones. This was so cool... Hehehe.
Okay next, {Dark Vision} was self-explanatory, and then the unique skill.
{Brave Heart}: The user's heart is filled with courage and strength, making them invulnerable to fear. In addition, the user's physical abilities are increased by a set amount. This effect can stack with itself multiple times.
Alright, so that explained the surge of energy earlier and the reason why I was able to defeat that monster without any problem.
But that doesn't explain how I ended up here. Where in the world am I?
I looked at the creature lying dead before me. The only explanation I can come up with was that, I died and got reincarnated into another world like those fantasy novel stories or maybe I'm in some kind of weird dream world. Who knows.
I was still pondering about it when I heard the growling sound from my stomach. I was hungry.....very much. There was nothing around me except for that corpse....which I didn't want to touch, at least, not yet.
My stomach growled again, reminding me of its presence, urging me to eat. It started to overwhelm me and before I knew it, I found myself crawling toward the corpse of the creature.
As I approached the corpse, a strange sense of excitement surged inside of me. It was something I had never experienced before. The feeling of excitement was very strong; it was almost frightening.
The monster lay there dead, completely helpless in the face of my hunger. I felt an immense thirst rised from deep within me, demanding that I devour it at once, to tear it into pieces. I don't care anymore....I'll do anything to survive.
With my eyes locked on the corpse before me, I opened my jaw wide, exposing my sharp fangs, and lunged at it like a wild beast. Its flesh crunched under my teeth as my claws ripped through it. I savored every bit of it as I chewed into it, ripping it apart with such a violent rage that my vision began to blur.
A sudden wave of euphoria filled me. I felt invincible. I laughed hysterically as I consumed the carcass of the monster. I continued to devour the carcass until there was literally nothing left of the body before me. I was satisfied. Satisfied and full.
For a moment, I stood there, basking in the afterglow of my victory. I'm alive. I survived. I killed the monster.

What? The skill leveled up? What is going on here? I looked at the screen in confusion. The level of my bite skill increased by two? But how? I don't think I used it, I don't even know how to use it in the first place but it just went up by two levels? Just like that? Or maybe I subconsciously used it?
That might be the case. After all I kinda went crazy there when I was devouring that carcass. Anyway it's a good news that the skill was easy to level up, at least.
I looked at the screen again, trying to figure out what else I should do next. I still didn't know where I was or what was going on. I tried to think, but my thoughts were interrupted when I suddenly felt something was wrong.
It's the feeling again, where I can somehow sensed "something" nearby. It was faint, but it was definitely there.
That feeling of dread and unease. Something was coming.....something was approaching me from the rear.

The feeling getting stronger like it's getting closer. It felt like it was drawing near. I turned around and saw a shadow approaching toward me. It was getting bigger and bigger as it approached. Even with {Dark Vision} It still dark, but I could make out its shape clearly. It has the same silhouette of the monster I killed. The only difference between them was that it's slightly bigger.
What's going on? Why are there more of these monsters? How did they appear out of nowhere?
My heart started pounding rapidly at the realization of the danger dawned upon me. My breathing became heavier. My body trembled. I'm scared.
I don't like it. I don't like this feeling. I don't like it at all. That's why it should just disappear.
─Brave Heart activated
A familiar sensation washed over me. The same surge of energy coursing through my veins. The feeling of power and confidence. The creature before me froze in surprise as it felt my sudden change in aura. It stared at me in bewilderment for a second before it started to roar angrily. It's eyes glowed red as it charged towards me.
I raised my fists and prepared myself for battle.
