Before Meili could answer, Tan Song elbowed her lightly with a grin, though her eyes flicked nervously towards Mu Shen standing a short distance away, tapping into his tablet.
"Don't ask too loudly… do you want him to glare at us until we melt again?"
Su Ling giggled softly despite herself, hiding her smile behind delicate fingers. "He looks busy today…"
Mu Shen's dark gaze flicked towards them briefly, making all three girls straighten instinctively, their chatter falling into hushed whispers.
He turned to Meili, his voice calm and low. "Where do you want to have lunch today? At the pavilion or at the private room? There's a gazebo too."
Meili blinked softly. "Anywhere is fine… as long as we are together."
His lips curved faintly at the corners, a shadow of a smile that disappeared as quickly as it came.
