Critical damage detected . . . lifeform, unconscious . . . Inducing shock in 3.
If one were looking at Tristan they would see an electrical charge building up on his chest 2 1.
Gasp.
Tristan gasped, his lungs burning as he dragged air into them. His mind thrashed, a chaotic storm of pain and disorientation. Then, a jolt – raw, searing agony that ripped through his abdomen.
*Aghhhh! My stomachs been pierced.*
The silent scream echoed in his mind. Teeth clenched, he tried to map the world around him. He was lying flat on his back, the rough earth digging into his back.
*Ugmmh!*
With teeth clenched he began to feel out what had pierced his body, no doubt it felt like a roor of somesort
Ugmmh!
The pain was so unbearable, he wanted to scream, trusting his body and his sense of space he slowly sat up but suddenly, the root expanded rapidly as if not wanting him to escape.
Tristan was panicking his mind racing, this thing . . "It seems to be absorbing my blood, and due to that it's growing at a rapid pace."
He breathed heavily, his mind becoming clear.
With most of his primary senses down a rush of chemicals flooded his body making him more resistant to the stress.
"Hmm, I guess I've got no other choice but to break it," With a sudden twist of his body the blood sucking root snapped in half.
Aghhhg!
He rolled about on the ground, the pain excruciating, his heavy breathing echoed throughout the quiet forest.
But it wasn't over yet for he had to pull this thing out before it because it was still expanding.
Not too far from this in a thick brush an eerie entity stood hidden from sight, its eyes piercing cold.
He felt something sinister watching him which caused the fine hairs on his body to stand on end.
And not knowing what danger the thing could bring Tristan with God tear acting skills felt about then stretched out exaggeratedly then his hands seemingly went limp and fell back down.
Those cold merciless eyes stared on for sometime but sensing no movement it moved even closer.
Shit shit.
Though he couldn't see it he would feel that unsettling presence had gotten closer and worse of all was the root still absorbing his blood and expanding.
A bird-like creature stood overhead, its elongated beak was grayish white its face human-like, and its wings were like a black cloak that wrapped its figure.
It inched over closer and the smell of decay filled the air, replacing the fresh damp air of the forest.
Fck!
Tristan cursed in his mind as he got a face of that smell.
He visibly twitched which alerted the creature. Its eyes were crazy, like a person on crack as it stared at Tristan.
Tristan felt complete horror, the madness of that creature's eyes seemed to stir up the dark either within Tristan's body and memories flashed.
A few vivid images flashed in Tristan's mind, but he reconnected himself.
Panic set in as he didn't know where the enemy was nor did he have the strength to fight or even run.
He was completely useless to himself, for the first time in a long while he started to panic.
"Calm, I am calm. But what if . . . I said I am calm!."
Tristan let out a silent breath, his chest collapsing even further, the brid monster's head twisted and a human-like smile stretched across its face.
Tristan felt it, he felt death looking at him about to welcome him into it's Embrace.
But a monstrous roar echoed across the quiet forest, and the scary expression on the bird monster's face was replaced with anxiety and fear.
It looked at Tristan again and hesitated but that monstruos roar echoed out again.
The bird monster skedaddled, the foul air disappearing along with it.
A few seconds passed and Tristan couldn't help but take in a heavy breath of the forest damp air.
Suddenly the earth started to shake, since Tristan was deafened by the fairy he obviously didn't hear the roar from earlier but he felt the tremors.
It felt as if a massive earthquake had hit the area but his senses told him it was something else entirely.
But without sight hearing nor the strength to move Tristan lay still his mental state unclear.
The scene shifted back to Earth. Inside the fog on the top of the broken skyscraper the figures hand moved and the vast scenery began to hone in on a fog covered area.
Marisa and her assistant, Not only felt it, they smelled it, the thick viscous atmosphere of this monstrous planet.
"Gasp, such high level spatial control," the assistant exclaimed, "he can interact with other sub spaces from his current location, truly deserving of the title heavenly king."
Looking at the fog covered region he felt the terrifying law energy governing it, so he would have to bypass it.
He slashed out with his sword and a small spatial tunnel opened in the fog, his hands moved and they began to move through this region.
There was nothing but fog but as they went in deeper the fog became dark and lightning struck about.
The thunder became deafening, frightening the onlookers, suddenly the military came by and began to evacuate the civilians from the area.
within the fog an outline of something could be seen, the two in the back froze up lightning flashed and thunder rumbled about suddenly
Massive lightning bolt struck the spatial passage, the entire city began to shake, cracks and reveans opened up in the city throwing the place into a chaotic disarray.
The heavenly king quickly relocated the affected area to the building stopping the destruction about to be brought to the city.
His hand moved about in rapid succession, and multiple spatial barriers and spatial reinforcement was inscribed onto the building.
He mumbled," that wasn't a lighting bolt just now", as he said that a devastating hit landed on the spatial tunnel the building shook and cracks started to form all over.
He was pissed he a being of heaven and earth was attacked for no reason, he raised his sword high and space distorted around the edge of the blade.
He slashed out and a loud sound was heard, before the fog split into two revealing a large clear area.
A branch as thick as a hill extended out into the far reaches of the fog, a sense of ancient mystery lingering about.
On this branch stood a lone figure; their body wrapped in thick armor like scales, but with an ample chest and wide hips it was obvious what gender the thing was.
The part where the eyes would be was covered by a thick carapace, but despite not having any vision she looked directly at them, her thick dragon-like tail made it obvious that she wasn't human.
The heavenly king was unfearing as he spoke harshly "how dare a mere beast block my path, are you seeking death?"
The woman smiled her purple lips adding a sense of charm to her odd features.
She opened her mouth and spoke in an incomprehensible language but with the heavenly king's terrifying understanding of spaces he understood what she said.
"Insect, you dare" as he shouted this, his blade burrowed through space time unleashing a devastating sword strike.
The woman dodged her expression surprised she then stood straight and a black ominous cross appeared behind her.
Demonic ether permitted the battlefield she smirked and with a wave of the black cross a terrifying law energy slammed into the spacial tunnel the building shattered on the spot but the two that were watching were suspended mid air.
The heavenly king was so enraged that he burrowed through space time, his body appearing in front of the humanoid beast.
"Truly remarkable", she was shocked by the heavenly king, her pale grayish white skin flushed as she said "so this was the king race that ruled with an iron fist."
The heavenly king paused and the simple smile grew, her face broke apart showing a myriad of sharp teeth, her tongue flopped out of her head exaggeratedly.
Two attacks. The two only exchanged two attacks before the heavenly king decided to retreat.
It wasn't out of fear of the enemy but he sensed that the enemy seemed to know a bit about spatial laws and if they were to pinpoint earth's location, it would be a disaster.
The strange humanoid seemed to be enraptured; her face had somewhat returned to normal but her tongue was still sticking out of her head.
Her right hand slid down to her crotch and her other hand propped up her chest.
"Ahh such ecstasy, I can't wait to meet the king race." as she mumbled on she transformed into a demonic monstrosity but her form shifted back as the fog gradually filled in the empty space.
"Hahaha, ohh I know exactly where you are, i'm just waiting for you all to reach down here, hehehehe."
The scene shifted to Tristan on the ground he was still lying down but as the rumbling got closer he got up and felt about trying to crawl to the nearest tree.
But that terrifying gaze could be seen peeking from the side of another tree.
Its eyes, though filled with Blood lust shown with hesitation, but as the shaking grew more intense, it decided to act.
Tristan felt a curious gaze to the side instinctively. He turned to look but saw nothing, he let out a sigh, and cursed the fairy in his mind.
But what was in front of Tristan was something strange; it was a mix of turtle and lizard, it had small red spikes protruding from its back, but due to its small size it looked like a small round dumpling, with decorations.
The small beast stared at Tristan curiously and it let out a child-like noise, it seemed to be laughing.
It was then that the bird monster acted. In almost an instant Tristan got swept up into the air, the creature flapped it's wings and took off like a little thief.
The little beast stared dumbfoundedly for a moment, but it soon let out an angry cry, the bird monster looked back surprised that the thing had reached the area.
The little beast was fully enraged as it raised one of its little feet, it stomped the ground.
[Cue the holy music]
A planetary mass (pm) of distance shook and a crystalline structure stabbed into the air.
[Narrator]
The angel race:
A mysterious race of beings born with God-like strength and as they mature they would eventually mature into a God class existence.
That is a being no (Type 6 lifeform) would want to encounter. But their numbers are small so in order to protect their safety they travel in packs.
The earth rumbled and shook as different beings of varying size appeared; they were in the hundred if not thousands.
They all looked at this scene uninterestedly, at the tip of this structure the bird monster was impaled
Everything happened too fast for tristan on minute he was on the ground the next he was in the air and falling to his death.
It seemed to be a bit of an overkill, but Tristan was in danger, no living being could survive a drop from this height.
As he fell Tristan's mind wandered to that illusory space in his mind and just for a brief moment a green light emitted from his forehead.
The little beast with its keen eyesight saw this and acted.
This chapter marks the end of the desperation around and the beginning of The fallen God ark.
